Your backups.
Your Google Drive.
Hermes Drive stores owner-selected backup archives in the owner's Google Drive and checks uploaded copies against the original files.
This website provides application information only. It has no sign-up form, does not accept uploads, and does not expose any backup files.
What the application does
The privately operated utility runs on the owner's computer and server. It creates backup archives, uploads them to the configured Drive folder, and reads them back to check their integrity. Technical records track completed uploads and help avoid duplicate copies.
Why Google access is needed
The application uses the limited https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission. This allows it to create and work with files it creates or files specifically made available to it, rather than requesting access to the entire Drive account. It does not request Gmail or Calendar access.
Who it is for
This is a personal, non-commercial utility for its operator, not a public hosted service. Publishing this information page does not make the operator's Drive files public.
Privacy and control
Read the privacy policy for details about data use, storage, retention and revoking access. For questions about this installation, use the support contact shown in its Google consent screen or contact the operator directly.
